Decorating and e-design

I  am passionate about COLOR, DECORATING, ART and TEXTILES that authentically highlight the personality of my clients and reflect their lifestyle.

Inspired by my own experiences with Interior Design, Art, Fashion, Textiles, Travel, Nature and all things beautiful, I will design a space utilizing all of these aspects. I see the beauty and inspiration in my surroundings and incorporate my designer eye into the styling of my clients space.  

I have a discerning eye for Interior Decorating and an innate sense of Color which comes from years of high end Design experience. Fashion and Interiors are a reflection of our style and lives. I meld them together beautifully with my background, done so in a natural, effortless way.

Having spent many years creating design as a Senior Textile Designer/Colorist on 7th Avenue in New York City.  NYC was the center of design, fast moving and where it all starts. This is where I began to see the beauty and design elements in everything around me. Museums of NY were my playground to enhance my design taste and work. 

Working for everyone from Banana Republic to Calvin Klein is where I began to blend Print, Pattern, Color and Art. While working with Calvin Klein colors were muted and style was minimalist. This translates into a style of home decor which favors simplicity. While at other fashion houses, colors and print were bold and made a statement. This is often reflected in the personality of the clients, whose homes I decorate as well. I spend the time getting to know the personality of my client and their spaces and desires, then get decorating to match these.

I take these experiences and decide whether the Minimalist look is right or the Bolder approach with bright paint and bold prints. I LISTEN to the space and client, which is a special skill. 

Having also traveled the world, From the amazing coast of Italy with azure seas to to the far reaches of Asian countries, color and pattern influences abound. I bring a strong understanding of many countries and how their colors and decor blend together. 

Being certified  in Feng Shui, I also am able to use this ancient art form to choose which special  items should be placed in certain areas to create not only beauty, but more abundance in their lives.
